After completing Assignment 5, I am more confident in how to utilize hyperlinks in PowerPoint. I believe using the hyperlinks to make trivia games or jeopardy elevates a presentation, being a very useful tool for teachers to use. Additionally, after figuring out a layout and pattern, I was able to copy and paste hyperlinks more efficiently. I did struggle in making the animations work after disabling the presentation's settings, so after figuring that out with a google search, the rest of the presentation was simple to set up. Next time I am interested in using a pre-made template, but I am glad that I was able to learn how to make one from scratch.            Surveys are a great tool for teachers to get feedback on their teaching and check up on their students. I have interest in teaching english middle school, so I could use surveys in the beginning of the school year to see what are students preferences in gen...

In the process of completing my WebDesign assignment, I was constantly thinking of the CRAP principles. Repetition and alignment were two elements that I kept in mind, when making my WebDesign. Since for me, that was the most challenging part of adding sections and dividers to make it look even and organized. I liked the overall layout of the platform that we created this assignment, for it provided the tools to create a useful teacher website. I can see utilizing this platform to create future websites because it was an easy system to follow and you are able to get very creative with it.            I find QR codes an incredible advancement in technology, as it makes online information easily more accessible. I recall from my high school, we would use QR codes for bathroom passes and much more. I also remember doing a scavenger hunt with QR codes that was very fun, educational and interactive. So I would do imple...

Teacher Website I struggled in researching a teacher page through a school page, but I found this website of this teacher page that is used as an example/template for other teachers. Information in the website includes a little of bit of the teacher, homework for each subject, students resources, rules, class photos and more. This creates a great resource for students to utilize, help hem stay organize, and up to date. I also really like that the teacher posts pictures of the class, which facilitates parent's access to those pictures. Overall, it is an organized website that has everything students and parents would need in one place.  I visualize myself using technology to be more efficient in the classroom. Either creating a weekly website or email system that will maintain a steady communication line with parents. Depending on the resources, I also plan on using platforms that will involve students to collaborate like Kahoot or Google Docs. To improve my productivity as a teache...

So far this is my first semester blogging, but ironically I have two classes using it, and honestly I really like it. I think it is a very well organized and simple software to use, and it presents it very nicely with the overall website of the blog. I believe it creates a very simple process of drafting and posting on the website, plus it has a great perk of auto-saving your work. I also really like it because I hate to do discussion posts on canvas, and blogging elevates doing discussion posts. I can see myself using this in the future, and sharing this resource for my future students.            An interesting Web 2.0 I would use in teaching would be Google Docs. Besides it being free, Google Docs allows a platform to create, edit and collaborate on a single document. I could use Google Docs with having all students in one single document participating and collaborating together. Additionally, Google doc...
