After completing Assignment 5, I am more confident in how to utilize hyperlinks in PowerPoint. I believe using the hyperlinks to make trivia games or jeopardy elevates a presentation, being a very useful tool for teachers to use. Additionally, after figuring out a layout and pattern, I was able to copy and paste hyperlinks more efficiently. I did struggle in making the animations work after disabling the presentation's settings, so after figuring that out with a google search, the rest of the presentation was simple to set up. Next time I am interested in using a pre-made template, but I am glad that I was able to learn how to make one from scratch.
Surveys are a great tool for teachers to get feedback on their teaching and check up on their students. I have interest in teaching english middle school, so I could use surveys in the beginning of the school year to see what are students preferences in genres or reading styles. Also throughout the school year, I can have classroom feedback surveys to see what activities my students find enjoyable or useful. For surveys provide a great way for students to give feedback that teachers can apply in their lessons, and personalize it toward the students.
I would be very interested to learn how to photoshop, possibly in a platform like Adobe. Using SMART goals, I specify my goal to be wanting to get comfortable using Adobe photoshopping tool. I would measure this by making random content on Adobe to get comfortable and learn what each feature and button does. After making some random posters and learning through mistakes, I would confirm my goal is attainable because I have a better understanding on how to use the tools in Adobe. After getting more comfortable with how to use the tools, I would make better and relevant content using photoshop. Hopefully, I could accomplish this goal in 2-3 months, but by being consistent of practicing on the software at least once a week.
